How does MDF recruit Dodgeball Players into the selection Team to become
the National Dodgeball Team?
1. OPEN SELECTION
– MDF will select the players present through several levels.
2. NATIONAL TOURNAMENT OR LEAGUE (such as MDL and CDL)
– MDF will identify players who are consistent in their performance through the Tournament or league.
3. INVITATION
– In this method it rarely happens unless the management identifies the Player really has a very good performance over existing players.
After going through this stage, all players have to go through several training sessions before they are eligible to be in the Malaysian Dodgeball Team.
The most important thing is that players have high discipline, good physical fitness, self-confidence, excess energy, commitment, good character and intensity of urge to be the best player.
